Homebrew Draconic Ascendent Species Details
By a wish spell cast with the blessings of Kereska, you have been given dragon form.
As a dragonborn, you unlocked the draconic blood in your veins, and were rewarded with a draconic form. You assume the form of a young dragon of the same type as your dragonborn ancestor, retaining your game statistics except where noted. Your draconic ascension improves your breath weapon, and allows you to change your shape between your dragon form and that of a humanoid dragonborn at will.

Breath Weapon
When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of magical energy in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature takes 1d10 damage of the type associated with your Metallic Ancestry. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage. This damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), and 17th level (4d10). You can use your Breath Weapon a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Damage Immunity
You have immunity to the damage type associated with your draconic ancestry.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic. Draconic is thought to be one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The language sounds harsh to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants.
Dragon Scales
While in your dragon form, you have a natural armor class of 17
Multiattack
The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + str) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + str) slashing damage.
Shape Change
The dragonic ascendant magically polymorphs into a humanoid or beast that has a challenge rating no higher than 2, or back into its true form. It reverts to its true form if it dies. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying is absorbed or borne by the new form (the dragon's choice).
In a new form, the dragon retains its alignment, hit points, Hit Dice, ability to speak, proficiencies, class features, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores, as well as this action. Its statistics and capabilities are otherwise replaced by those of the new form, except any class features or legendary actions of that form.
