Homebrew Batfolk Species Details
The Batfolk are a shy and quiet race of nocturnal predators. They typically dwell in dark caves, or in the silent corners of a forest. Batfolk are wary of strangers, and tend to observe from afar. These bat-like people are close to complete blindness, but their other senses are nothing short of remarkable.
Silent and Alert
Batfolk tend to keep to themselves, and are slow to trust others. They are a kind people, and make fiercely loyal companions once a connection is made.
Batfolk have pink to brown skin that is covered in a short, soft fur. This fur can be many ranges of colors from creamy white to black to various mottled patterns in a combination of colors. They have small, thin bodies with short legs and long, powerful arms with which large membrane skin wings extend outward and coming to an end at their spindly clawed hands.
Batfolk have small beady eyes that are glazed over and cloudy white or grey. Their large ears extend outward and make up a significant part of their silhouette, and two elongate fangs protrude from under their upper lip.
