Homebrew Lingering Will Species Details

Lingering Will is a phenomenon that occurs in highly trained Wild Magic users, or beings who have such a powerful spirit that their soul lingers in the mortal plain, not taking death as an option. Lingering Will, which will furtherhence be known as LW, is a powerful force, as one might expect it to be, as it allows a being to persist after death. LW Users, when born afresh, are in a late stage of decay,  turning completely skeletonized within a few days. Those humanoids who chose to do so may keep their hair. Studies done on LW Users show that this allows them to keep some form of identity.

LW Users have a natural aura which acts as a skin like, semi-opaque layer around their skeleton, the color of which is based upon the LW User's strength. LW Aura color spectrum is typically a red-green gradient, but more prominent LW figures have been known to have purple auras. The permeability of the Aura is entirely dependent on the LW User, e.g whether or not a hand can pass through it. LW Aura also produces rudimentary eyeballs within the User's eye sockets. LW Users, with practice, can hide their Aura, looking like a "normal" skeleton. They also have complete control over every bone in their body, the most experienced Users learning to use bone based attacks.
 Despite the control LW Users have over their bones and Aura, they are still vulnerable to physical damage, and have the same proficiency in dodging as they did before they died.

LW Users are immune to poison, stun, and necrotic damage.
