Homebrew Tauren Species Details
Tauren Society
Tauren are ruled by a true, high-king, called an Iron Horn, and divided by clans ruled by a Warhorn. A warhorn rules until they die and then their strongest commander takes the title. When an Iron Horn dies, however, all of the living Warhorns unite to elect the most fit for the title.
In a clan, males and females alike are given basic military training as soon as they mature, and are expected to serve in their dedicated military if the need ever arises. A trained adult chooses to either enroll in their military or act as secondary fighters if they choose to pursue a different path.
