Homebrew Child of the Gottkaiser Species Details
The Holy Kaiserreich is a nation steeped in reverence and unwavering faith, a realm where every breath and every step is guided by the omnipresent authority of the Gottkaiser. His story is woven into songs, legends, and epic tales, recited with awe in the streets, within palaces, and even in humble farmhouses. His presence binds the land together, granting it a divine purpose etched into the souls of its people.
Once, the Gottkaiser was mortal, a man of humble origins, yet his resolve was unbreakable. In a time when darkness shrouded the world and the gates of Hell were thrown wide open, he rose as a beacon of hope. Demons, devils, and infernal horrors flooded across the borders of reality, spreading terror and destruction. Chaos erupted everywhere, and the darkness of despair threatened to engulf humankind. But this man, who would become the Gottkaiser, resisted the forces of corruption and called upon the rulers of the eight realms to form a final alliance – a desperate union forged by the purity of his spirit and the strength of his will.
With his loyal army, he marched against the infernal legions. The battles he waged were brutal and bloody. Legends say that in the last battle, he was cloaked in golden light as he stood alone against an entire legion of darkness to protect his followers. Gravely wounded and close to death, he finally fell to the ground – yet instead of breathing his last, a miracle unfolded. The earth trembled, and the flames of Hell recoiled as his mortal body ascended, transforming into a figure of pure divine essence. He transcended his human form and became the Gottkaiser, the eternal guardian of the Holy Kaiserreich.
Today, the Gottkaiser watches over his realm from his radiant Golden Palace, a magnificent fortress atop a sacred mountain, bathed in endless rays of light that extend like a divine shield over the entire Kaiserreich. The palace is a site of pilgrimage for all believers, who say its walls radiate with the purest essence of his will. In solemn prayers, his followers turn to him not only as a king but as an all-knowing being who embodies the beginning of all things, the path of all actions, and the end of all journeys.
The priests and temples of the Holy Kaiserreich devote their lives to his name, performing rituals that call down his blessings on the land and keep evil at bay. Throughout the realm, people build altars and shrines in his honor, for they believe he is the only safeguard against the darkness. It is said his will whispers in the winds, his eyes gaze through the light of the stars, and his wrath shakes the earth when shadows threaten the Holy Kaiserreich.
The war against Hell endures, an eternal struggle led by the Gottkaiser himself from the Golden Palace. His followers are filled with the certainty that he stands beside them in their darkest hours and that his undying fury will one day seal the gates of Hell forever.

The Children of the Gottkaiser are revered beings of his divine bloodline, towering figures who embody his strength and purpose. Standing nearly 7 feet tall, they possess an imposing, almost otherworldly presence. Each bears one of three striking hair colors: snow-white, blood-red, or pitch-black, symbols of purity, wrath, and night itself. Their eyes often carry a radiant intensity, and their features reflect an unyielding pride, carved from the same fierce resolve as their father.
From birth, the Children of the Gottkaiser are marked by a unique blessing – they are imbued with an innate resistance to the infernal forces that plague their world. Hell's corrupting energies recoil from them, unable to take root in their souls. The blood of the Gottkaiser grants them not only a shield against these dark influences but also a deep, instinctive repulsion toward all that is demonic or unholy. Their very being is woven with a divine purpose: to cleanse the world of infernal taint and uphold their father’s eternal war.
From a young age, they undergo rigorous training, both in the arts of war and in disciplines that strengthen their mental resilience against hellish powers. Each is molded into a relentless warrior, a force of iron-willed devotion and precision. Their training is conducted by the Kaisserreichs most skilled generals and high priests, forging the Children into an elite order that stands on the front lines of their father’s crusade against Hell. They wield weapons and armor imbued with divine blessings, further empowering them to drive back the demonic forces.
Despite their fierce nature, the Children of the Gottkaiser hold an unwavering reverence for their father. He is not only their sovereign but their living god, the source of their power and purpose. They see themselves as his divine instruments, bound to his will and devoted to his eternal mission. His teachings and commands are as law to them, and in their prayers, they reaffirm their loyalty to him as both father and deity.
Their presence inspires awe and hope among the people of the Holy Kaiserreich, who see them as living symbols of the Gottkaisers divine authority and strength. For these Children, their life is a sacred duty, a path set by the Gottkaiser himself – to be guardians of the realm, warriors of the divine, and relentless foes to the legions of Hell

The Imperial Laws of the Gottkaiser
The Imperial Laws of the Gottkaiser are sacred decrees that govern all aspects of life in the Holy Empire. Inscribed in silver and gold within the Great Hall of the Golden Palace, these laws are the ultimate expression of divine will. Every citizen, noble, and warrior is bound to obey, and those who defy these edicts face swift and absolute justice.
---
1. The First Law: Reverence and Obedience
- "Honor the Gottkaiser as the Beginning, the Path, and the End."
- All subjects must revere the Gottkaiser as their divine ruler. Worship, prayer, and ceremonies are to be held in his name, and any word or act of blasphemy against him or his Children is punishable by death.
- The Gottkaiser’s decrees are infallible, and to question them is seen as a challenge to the divine order.
2. The Second Law: Purity of Spirit
- "The hearts of the Empire’s children shall remain untainted."
- Any contact with infernal or corruptive forces is forbidden. Citizens who knowingly consort with demons, warlocks, or any practitioners of forbidden arts are guilty of heresy and treason.
- In cases of spiritual taint, a purification ritual overseen by the high priests is mandated. Those deemed beyond redemption will face divine judgment.
3. The Third Law: Duty to the Empire
- "All shall serve the Empire in mind, body, or soul."
- Every subject must serve the Empire in their own capacity, whether through labor, craftsmanship, scholarship, or warfare. Drafting in times of need is compulsory, and refusal to serve is treated as betrayal.
- The Children of the Gottkaiser and their chosen elite warriors bear a special responsibility, charged with defending the Empire’s borders and engaging in the eternal war against Hell.
4. The Fourth Law: Sanctity of the Bloodline
- "The blood of the Gottkaiser shall remain untainted and guarded."
- The Children of the Gottkaiser are holy beings, and any attempt to harm or corrupt them is an unforgivable offense. They are beyond reproach and answer only to the Gottkaiser himself.
- Marriages and alliances among the Children are arranged only with the direct blessing of the high priests and are intended to maintain the purity and sanctity of their bloodline.
5. The Fifth Law: Justice and Honor
- "Justice is the Gottkaiser’s light, and honor is his flame."
- All judgments are to be carried out in accordance with the Gottkaiser’s teachings. Trials are held in his name, and only the most just and honorable actions may prevail.
- Acts of betrayal, murder, theft, and falsehood against one’s kin and countrymen are punishable by divine retribution.
6. The Sixth Law: Protection of the Faithful
- "The faithful shall be sheltered under the Gottkaiser’s protection."
- All citizens of the Holy Empire, as faithful followers of the Gottkaiser, are to be protected from infernal threats and demonic corruption. Any assault upon a citizen is treated as an assault upon the Gottkaiser himself.
- Those who are weak, injured, or unable to defend themselves are to be given aid and support by the strong, especially in times of war.
7. The Seventh Law: Vigilance Against the Infernal
- "Let no shadow pass unseen."
- All are charged to be vigilant against the forces of Hell. Suspicion of infernal influence, dark magic, or heresy must be reported to the nearest priest or Imperial officer.
- Those who shirk from their duty to report darkness may face penalties as accomplices to corruption.
8. The Eighth Law: Order Above All
- "Chaos shall have no foothold in the Holy Empire."
- Order, discipline, and unity are the pillars of the Holy Empire. Citizens must respect hierarchy, maintain peace, and uphold the stability of society.
- Rebellious acts, insurrections, or conspiracies against the Empire are met with unwavering retribution.
9. The Ninth Law: Stewardship of the Realm
- "The Empire shall be as unyielding as the Gottkaiser's will."
- All natural resources, lands, and people of the Empire are under the stewardship of the Gottkaiser and are to be treated with respect and care. Wastefulness, desecration, or abandonment of duty to the land are punishable.
- Nobles and stewards are responsible for managing their lands in alignment with the Gottkaiser’s divine vision.
10. The Tenth Law: Eternal War
- "Let the war against Hell rage without ceasing until the end of days."
- All subjects are to be prepared for an endless struggle against the forces of Hell. This law mandates that every citizen contributes to the war effort in some form, whether by direct combat, providing supplies, or praying for the Empire’s protection.
- The Children of the Gottkaiser lead the charge, serving as his divine warriors in the eternal conflict against Hell.
---
Failure to uphold these laws is seen as a betrayal of both the Gottkaiser and the Holy Empire itself. Punishments are carried out swiftly, with no room for mercy, as these laws are considered divine mandates, binding each citizen to the Gottkaiser’s eternal order.

Praise the Gottkaiser
Praise the Gottkaiser
With a solemn prayer to the Gottkaiser, the Child calls upon divine power to strike down infernal foes or free a charmed ally. Using this feature requires an action and allows the Child to choose one of the following effects:
- Banish Infernal: The Child targets one or more infernal creatures within 300 feet. The primary target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 10 + 1 for each person joining the prayer) or be destroyed by the Gottkaiser's divine wrath. For each additional person joining the prayer, the Child can target an additional infernal creature, each making its own saving throw.
- Break Enchantment: By laying hands on a charmed creature, the Child can end any charm effect caused by infernal forces, freeing the ally from infernal influence.
This powerful prayer can only be invoked once per long rest, as the Child draws upon the Gottkaiser’s divine strength.
