Homebrew Cicadanose (CicadaFolk) Species Details

Cicadanose are the result of fey magic intertwining with humanoid bloodlines, giving them a unique, bug-like appearance. In their youth, they appear as small, charming humanoids with large eyes and delicate limbs. However, as they reach their 30s, they undergo a transformation known as the Metamorphosis, developing more pronounced insect-like features such as segmented eyes, tougher skin, and, in some cases, translucent wings. Despite these changes, Cicadanose maintain an air of beauty and mystery, resembling creatures of the fey.

Cicadanose are naturally curious, chaotic, and playful. They thrive in natural settings and often find themselves drawn to places of mystery and magic. Many of them enjoy playing tricks, singing enchanting songs, and disappearing into the woods for days on end. However, despite their fey charm, they are known to be loyal friends and fierce protectors of those they love.
