Homebrew Vy’keen Species Details

The Vy’keen are a militaristic species, bound by honor and duty. These beliefs are held so dear to the Vy’keen that even those that don’t fight on the front lines seem battle hungry, to the point of confusion. Unlike the Gel before they were turned into traders, the Vy’keen valued honorable combat and fought fairly, or at least as fairly a warrior race will. They met their match when they came across the Sentinels. The Sentinels came to their planets, enforcing their laws on the unwilling Vy’keen. This lead to the Sentinal-Vy’keen War that ravaged the Vy’keen for years. While the Vy’keen did win the war, their losses were heavy, the ones surviving mostly being townsfolk or others that were off-world when the war started. The Vy’keen, now on par with the rest of the galaxy, try to reclaim their lost sectors from the remaining Sentinals.
