Homebrew Wizard Species Details
There were no wizards in the days of Ancient Exortia, before the war of Paragons. And during the war, they were the few who were able to save selquintists by carving the peak of Mt. Nërìnodelhir and made it into their home: The floating city of Kohvin'Ivor. And for decades, because most of their citizens are non-magic folk, the few who were quintists taught them magic, through runes and spells and tomes. And through the years, they eventually became known as the wizard kingdom, and more well-known for their defense system, the Mahōfrourá; the guards made up of adamantine, mithril, and the gigantic golden forgemechs that serve as their primary defense before themselves. And with their fear of being seen cultivated for years and years, they have devised their entire island to teleport into a different place, every few hours. So that no one will ever harm them again.
Through years of written scrolls and texts, as well as diversity in the species that live in Kohvin'Ivor, it was never hard for them to teach their young about magic, though none of them had ever become sorcerers. And this, in turn, is how they've become advent teachers of the art, and are ruled by the Overseers; the most powerful wizards among their people. And having been trained and taught since the moment they can understand and read, most of them turn out to be great wizards, and gain affinity to magic. And it never mattered if they were gifted or not, as the Overseers see to it that everyone is given magic, in honor of their ancestral saviors.
