• Luminarchs: The ruling class, chosen based on their mastery of light manipulation and their ability to maintain emotional equilibrium. Luminarchs serve as leaders, diplomats, and spiritual guides.

• Luminaries: Highly respected individuals who have demonstrated exceptional abilities in controlling light and projecting emotions. They often serve as advisors, healers, and teachers.

• Glintwardens: Guardians and protectors of Aelorian society, skilled in using light as a defensive and offensive tool. They are also responsible for maintaining order and safety.

• Gleamweavers: Artisans and creators, specializing in crafting intricate light-based technologies and artworks. Their creations are essential to Aelorian culture and daily life.

• Shimmerfolk: The general populace, involved in various aspects of daily life and community activities. They are encouraged to develop their light manipulation abilities and contribute to society.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity increases by 2, and your Wisdom increases by 1.

Crystalline Resilience

Due to your crystalline structure, you have resistance to radiant damage. Additionally, when you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Light Manipulation

You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the silent image spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so after a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the major image spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so after a long rest. Wisdom is your spell casting ability for these spells.

Emotion Projection

As an action, you can attempt to project your emotions onto others. Each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or be affected by the calm emotions spell. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Healing Factor

Your crystalline body regenerates quickly. When you use Hit Dice to regain hit points during a short rest, you can reroll any result of 1 or 2, but you must use the new roll.

Light Spectrum Vision

You can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, up to 60 feet, and you can discern colors in darkness as if it were dim light.
