Homebrew Terrectial Species Details

They came from the skies but they weren't celestials, at least not anymore. That part of them were gone.

— Ben von Nennun, High cleric of the moral church

It's hard to pinpoint excactly where Terrectials came from since none have spoken much about what we know as the celestial plane, but the general sense is that they are former celestials that have been expelled from the celestial plane. They look like humans, talk like humans, but there is something about them. They have magical abilities, however not nearly as powerful as celestials.

When it comes to looks specificly they have the same varieties as humans, they can be male or female as well as skin and hair colors. What distinguishes them from humans however is their eyes. Something not of this world. People describe them as two suns shining brightly. Yellow with dashes of orange. Burning, shining, and almost hypnotizing.

When it comes to other features the Terrectials are usually taller than humans, some have been recorded as large as 7 feet, other than that there are no stand out features

A life of redemtion

Whenever Terrectials are seen it allways looks like they try to show off how good they are, almost like they are trying to redeem themselves. Perhaps they are simply celestials wanting to get back. Some have noted though that they can sometimes do the opposite, use their power to do evil. They have a broad range of morals, but all seem to have a goal of their own. If that goal is power or redemtion only they and time can tell

A CONFLICT OF KNOWLEDGE

Different races have different lore and theories of just who and what Terrectials are. They have Just as many questions about their origin

Dwarves. “The old king Dagor allways said he'd seen a Terrectial crash down from the sky.”

Elves. “They might just as well be humans with a defect. Nothing more, nothing less. Definitivly not celestials.”

Halflings. “Terrectials usually don't visit Burrowdale or any other cities in Bumblia so not much is known, but town elder Rorimac allways talks about how they came from the underground and NOT from the heavens”
