Homebrew Chompy Species Details

The typical Skylands Chompy, this curious critter has a mouth half the size it's body and an appetite to match. Green in color and has eyes raised above it's head. Chompies are one of the most common monsters in the world. They are small, green, not very bright creatures that bark and yelp like dogs. They sometimes spawn from Chompy Pods or Root Runners; by destroying these plants, the Chompies will stop appearing. They believe in the coming of their savior, the Chompy mage

Severe Incompitence

The Chompy has no weapon proficiencies and cannot learn spells.

Bouncy

Chompies can bounce on each other's head to gain height, gaining 15ft per bounce. Maxes out at 85ft.

Eye of the Chompy.

All Chompies can see normally in Dim Light and Darkness within 180 feet of yourself.

Weedie Booties

Any fall damage that is taken is passed onto any entity that is directly underneath the Chompy.

Flawed Tongue.

Chompies are incapable of speaking any languages. But they can understand all languages

Many Tiptoes

 You can take the Hide action even when you are obscured only by a creature that is at least one size larger than you.
