Homebrew Android Species Details

Androids are a scientific marvel.

Ability Score Improvement

Your Charisma, Constitution and either your Strength or Dexterity score increase by 1.

 

Age

Age: Up to forever with regular maintenance for full androids, and for Cyborgs they age slower than a normal human but can still die of old age.  

 

Alignment

Androids favor no alignment. If they are given guidance or specific programming, they will often favor lawful alignments. If left to their own devices they prefer Chaotic alignments. 

 

Size

Androids range in size based on their variety. Androids can range from any size while Cyborgs are about the same size as a human, Cyborg size can also change depending on race. 

 

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30ft and your base flight speed is 30 ft

 

Language

Androids can speak common and also one other language of their choice. 

 

Infinite Energy

Whenever you take a short rest you can choose to recover 1 level of exhaustion (if any) instead of having to take a long rest for recovery. 

 

Living Construct

As an Android you are immune to disease. You do not need to eat or breathe, but you can ingest food or drink if you wish. Instead of sleeping, you enter an inactive state for 4 hours each day. You do not dream in this state; you are fully aware of your surroundings and notice approaching enemies and events as normal. 

 

Barrier

You can cast the shield spell once per day as a reaction, you can activate this ability once per long rest. 

 

Cross-race

When an android is made the first race it was before hand is now mixed with the android race so they get the things from the original race alongside the things that come with the android race

 

Childbirth

An android if the original race was able of reproduction, then the android would be able to have childbirth
