Homebrew Half-minotuar, half-mermaid Species Details

This creature is what is created when a mermaid and a minotaur get together and have a child, but that child has the misfortune of getting the human half of both. Most believe this to be an unfortunate fate, and they would be wrong as this fate incurs more benefits than meets the eye

Ability Score Increase

When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. You can't raise any of your scores above 20.

Powerful build

Thanks to you minotaur heritage, you have powerful bones and put on muscle easily. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and your push/drag/lift. You also have advantage for strength checks and strength saving throws

Labrynthe recall

You always know which direction is north, and you have advantage on any Wisdom (Survival) check you make to navigate or track.

Siren's song

As a bonus action you can sing an aluring song. All creatures within 30 feet of you that can hear you must make a wisdom save (DC is 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be charmed by you. A creature charmed in this way will obey commands issued by you to the best of it's ability. If the charmed creature takes damage, it may attempt the save again. This charm lasts for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier minimum of 1. You may use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.

Amphibious

Due to you mermaid heritage, you may breathe underwater as if on land, you however get no special ability to swim as you have no mermaid tail

Siren's beauty

Thanks to your mermaid heritage, you are supernaturally beautiful. When a creature sees you for the first time, they must make a DC 10 wisdom save or be charmed by you. The charm can range from being slightly friendlier to you to being willing to tear their heart out for you. It all depends on how badly they fail the save and how the dm rules they react to love.

Languages

Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character. The Player’s Handbook offers a list of languages to choose from. The DM is free to modify that list for a campaign.
