Homebrew Citrus Species Details
Hailing from the Great Citrus Tree, citrons are one of the many plant races that roam the Material Plane. They show exemplary skill for leadership and civilization, unlike the more nomadic and tribal plant races.
Citruses tend to be on the shorter side, and come in bright, warm hues of yellows and oranges, with humanoid bodies either mimicking their citrus leather, or the branches and leaves they grew from. They possess the short lifespan of most plant people, only typically living around 50 years.
Lemons
Lemons hail from the Great Citrus Tree, and are the most dexterous and perceptive of the other citruses, using their adept situational awareness and small frame to take down foes that might be deemed too big or dangerous otherwise. They're one of the smaller citruses, and possess a vibrant yellow rind.
Oranges
Oranges hail from the Great Citrus Tree, and are known for their better hardiness compared to most citruses. Possessing natural abilities to stop themselves from dying quickly, oranges are hearty plant folk. They're one of the larger citruses, and possess a bright orange rind.
Limes
Limes are lemons who deserted the Great Tree ages ago. They're known for their combative nature, possessing a wiry strength not seen in most citruses.
Pomelos
Pomelos are the largest of all citrus, possessing a large size and a thick skin. They're one of the original Citruses, making up many of the other citruses.
Grapefruit
Sweet and sour.
Mandarins
Small.
