Homebrew Aether Born Species Details

Demigods of the god Aether are generally speaking in plain terms, abnormalities even compared to Demigod children of Nyx or Hecate. All take forms resembling their mother but the similarity ends there. These children are born with clouds for hair and stars for eyes. Many have gradient skin that seems to look like a shifting skyscape or night sky. Thse children are also unbound from the earth allowing them to walk off cliffs and step into air. Although they have what seems like levitation or flight it is not so, they seem to condense the air under their feet and walk like a hard floor, they are not able to change elevation though.

Aether Born Traits

As an Aether born, you have the following traits.

Creature Type

You are a Humanoid as much as can be considered. 

Size

You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race.

Speed

Your walking speed is 35 feet.

Atmospheric lungs

Being born of a primordial Greek god that embodies the atmosphere and space you have almost no need for oxygen, you need only take a few breaths a day to sustain your body. Unfortunately this makes almost all children of this god VERY soft spoken if they speak at all making it difficult to hear them most times.

Step upon the sky

As an Aether born you are born with innate ability to STEP on air. You can walk across gaps and non physical matter. You may NOT end your turn mid air or over a gap, doing so causes the player to fall whatever distance they are from the ground at half the falling speed.
