Homebrew Amalgamation Species Details

*This race probably works better if you do pen and paper because IDK how to the weird code stuff for D&D Beyond but this is the only way I can share this idea with other people.👍*

Amalgamations are a combination of multiple creatures. They are usually made by people who mess with genes like scientists with out of proportion morals to make the perfect subject, or just two species making a baby.

Amalgamation Traits

you...uhh...you are weird or smth

Ability Score Increase

Any two stats increase by 2 or any four stats increase by 1

Speed

Your speed on land is 30, but this can change later

Ugly Being

As a mixture of creatures and skin patchwork, everyone finds you appalling, if not, at least a little disturbing.

This is supposed to reduce your max charisma to 15 or just reduce what ever you have in charisma by 3, but IDK how to do that.

Patchwork Features

As a being created from multiple creatures, you have some of their traits.

Normally, you should roll three d10 to see what features you get, or you pick what feature to take with DM's permission, or the DM's choice to align for backstory reasons.

You may roll a d10 three times on a table of ten traits to put on your character, allowing you to have three traits from ten. Reroll if you get the same thing twice.

1 - Bugbear arms. you gain 5ft of melee range

2 - Gills. you can breath for an hour underwater

3 - Rabbit legs. you gain 5ft of movement

4 - webbed feet. you gain a swim speed of 20ft

5 - Poison Resistant. You gain resistance to poison damage and have advantage against being poisoned.

6 - Deep gnome eyes. You gain 60ft of darkvision

7 - Aarakocra wings. you gain a flying speed of 5 ft

8 - Lizard folk hide. you gain 1 to your AC

9 - Firbolg instinct. you can move across nonmagical difficult terrain without spending extra movement

10 - Tabaxi claws. you can deal 1d6 slashing damage as an unarmed attack

Intimidating Presence

Because you don't resemble any race, you look like a very unsettling monster, so you gain a bonus of 2 to intimidation.
