Homebrew Android (Fairy Variant) Species Details

Ability Score Increase: When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. 

Age: Androids do not visibly age, and have different life expectancies based on their durability and quality of construction. 

Size: You take on the size of whatever species you were created to replicate. 

Speed: Your walking speed is that of whatever species you were created to replicate.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Living Construct: Your creature type is construct. While you were constructed, you are a living creature. You are immune to diseases and the poisoned condition. You also have resistance to poison damage. You are considered a humanoid for the purpose of magic that would recover your hit points. You do not need to eat or breathe in order to survive by normal means, but you can consume food and/or drink to convert the matter into energy internally. Instead of sleeping, you enter an inactive "sleeping" state. The time required for you to receive the benefits of a long rest is 4 hours. You do not dream in this state; you are fully aware of your surroundings and notice approaching enemies and other events as normal. This state is also used to recharge your internal energy reserves, negating the need to consume food or drink for the purpose of receiving the benefits of a long rest.

Electric Circuitry: You are vulnerable to lightning damage. 

Replicant: You were built to resemble, imitate, or infiltrate another species. You gain their characteristics, and two of their abilities. 

Fairy Replicant: 

Flight: Because of your wings, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor.

Fairy Magic. You know the Druidcraft cantrip.

• Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Faerie Fire spell with this trait. Starting at 5th level, you can also cast the Enlarge/Reduce spell with this trait. Once you cast Faerie Fire or Enlarge/Reduce with this trait, you can’t cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast either of those spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.
• Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
