Homebrew Animated Blade Species Details
Forged by the best blacksmiths and enchanted by the most powerful wizards, you are a sentient being living inside of a blade. You control this blade, allowing it to hover in the air and fly.
Animated Blade Traits
Your Animated Blade character has certain traits deriving from its creator.Ability Score Increase
You gain +2 to your Constitution score.
Unaging
You do not age in the traditional sense. You do not die at a certain age or become weaker as you age, and could hypothetically live forever if you weren't destroyed.
Telekinetic Control
You can hold other items like other players by carrying them telekinetically.
Relentless Endurance
When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Body to Kill
You can use your own body as a weapon that can slash, dealing 1d6/slashing damage; stab, dealing 1d8/piercing damage; or slam, dealing 1d4 bludgeoning damage. If you are in an exceptionally cold environment (and your DM agrees to it), you can deal cold damage instead of any of these; and if you're in an exceptionally hot environment, you can deal fire damage instead.
