Homebrew Vulpine Dragon Species Details
A small Foxlike creature that has a few dragon like features ( scales, wings, dragon tail, etc ) This elusive creature is said to live in forests, but are rarely seen. They usually have brown, black, or any shade of orange fur and/ or scales.Their eyes are commonly colours like amber, red, yellow, green and brown, but they can have many other eye colours like blue, grey, etc. This mischievous creature is known to be very intelligent and swift, but when angry, can be deadly. These creatures can often be found in families of around 3. Males are often slightly larger and more aggressive, whereas Females are generally smaller, faster and more suited to swift movements. With a lifespan of around 200 years, these creatures age rather quickly in their early stages of life, reaching adulthood at 20 years, but in only reaching old age at 180 or so.
These magical creatures generally have the ability to bend fire to their will.
These creatures are excellent hunters, generally rolling in mud and covering themselves in leaves to hide from predators and prey.
These creatures are sadly unable to use bows, but can heat an arrow and propel the burning arrows at high speeds using their fire magic. These creatures can also use weapons like daggers and swords by holding them in their mouths to stab and slash at enemies.
These creatures have a naturally high armor, due to their thick fur and scales.They also have sharp, retractable claws much like those of a fox’s claws, and they have sharp teeth. Sometimes, these creatures can have dragon claws, which are not retractable

Night vision
You have excellent night vision, and can also use your long whiskers to help find your way in the dark

Due to your soft paws and animal instincts, you gain +2 stealth at all times.
Thick fur
Due to thick fur, you have slight resistance to the cold
Keen hearing and smell
This creature has a keen sense of hearing and smell due to it’s canine lineage

When determining your character's ability scores, increase one of those scores by 2, or increase two different scores by 1.Follow this rule regardless of the method you use to determine the scores, such as rolling or point buy.

Arctic Vulpine Dragon
Unlike it’s forest counterpart, this creature lives in snowy and cold places, has thicker fur and scales, and its fur/ scales are white, grey or blue. It can control ice instead of fire due to living in a cold environment. These creature variants generally have any shade of blue eyes, grey eyes, or even white eyes in rare cases. They can also have other eye colours, but those are less common.
Arctic vulpine dragons are generally slightly smaller, and rarer than the forest version. This small creature, just like the vulpine dragon, is very stealth and fast, has excellent night vision, and can find it’s way in the dark thanks to it’s long whiskers. These creatures are excellent hunters, that use snow snd ice to blend in with their surroundings, and hide from prey or predators. It’s main diet is meat, but it can eat fruit sometimes.
