Homebrew Batfolk Species Details
Batfolk evolved in the darkest portions of the underdark. Once they developed the means of higher thinking, two factions of Batfolk broke away from each other. The Primals, stuck by their animalistic instincts, while the other faction, coming to be called the Proditors, imitated other beings, Humans, Elves, Dwarves etc. Eventually coming to be welcomed into some cities.
Primals
Primals typically dwell in the deepest reaches of the Underdark and have been shaped by it. Keeping to the old ways and feral beliefs, primal's have large fangs and fleshy wings to help them survive where most others couldn't.
Proditors
Proditors have forsaken the old ways and have developed to look more humanoid to better integrate in society. While they no longer have wings, their claws have instead been honed to build and climb to help their people thrive.

As an Batfolk, you have these special traits.Superior Darkvision
You have Darkvision with a range of 120 feet.
Batfolk Bloodline
Choose a Bloodline. You gain benefits based on what you pick.
Primals
-You gain a fly speed equal to your walk speed.
-Draining Bite: You can throw yourself into a feeding frenzy. As a bonus action, you can make an attack with your Bite. If the attack hits, it deals 1d6 + Strength Mod piercing damage, and you gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest
-Prey Tracking: You gain proficiency in survival
Proditors
-You gain a climb speed equal to you walk speed
-Catch Claw: Your claws are natural weapons which you can use for unarmed strikes. If you hit you do 1d6 + Strength Mod slashing damage and the enemy has their speed reduced by half until the end of their next turn. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
-Racial Fear: You gain Proficiency in intimidation
Echo Ears
You cannot be surprised in your sleep and maintain a level of awareness of your surroundings during long rests. In addition you also have advantage on Perception checks that rely on hearing
