Homebrew Auroch Species Details

Do not call them Minotaurs! The Auroch are a legendary race of large, humanoid buffalo, recently rediscovered after centuries of being dismissed as myth. Towering and robust, their shaggy fur and imposing horns reflect their homeland. Despite their rugged appearance, Auroch societies are remarkably civilized, shaped by their environments and ancient traditions. The Auroch are identified by their short curled horns and have fur ranging in hues from sand-coloured to rich and dark earthy tones they hail from the arid and rugged desert plains known as Neovada, embodying the rugged independence of the wild west. They are skilled craftsmen, sharpshooters, homesteaders and artisans, living in close-knit communities that honor visions as sacred calls to adventure. Their culture blends grit with hospitality, shaped by the harsh beauty of their homeland. When an Auroch ventures beyond their homeland, it is often due to a powerful vision—a divine calling they believe will shape their destiny and the world around them.
