Blood Scent. The Wemic has an acute sense of smell, allowing them to detect the scent of blood within a range of 2 miles. This ability activates when a creature within that radius takes damage and begins to bleed. The Wemic can track the wounded creature's scent, gaining the following benefits:

  • Tracking: The Wemic can attempt to track the blood trail, following it to locate the injured creature. This check is based on the character's Perception or a relevant Tracking skill if available.
  • Combat Advantage: While tracking a bleeding creature, the Wemic gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls against that creature as long as they maintain line of sight and within the scent range.
  • Duration: The scent trail lasts for up to 1 hour or until the blood source is fully healed or the creature leaves the area.
  • Limitations: The ability is ineffective if the creature is healed and no longer bleeding or if the blood trail is obscured (e.g., by magical concealment or environmental factors like rain or water).
