Homebrew Corvus Species Details

The Corveth are an enigmatic and reclusive species, their existence steeped in myths of death, prophecy, and shadow. Believed to have been created by a forgotten deity of twilight, the Corveth walk the line between the living and the dead, carrying traits that tie them to their raven-like ancestry and their cursed origins.

 

Corvus Traits

You have the following racial traits: Shadowmeld: You can blend into dim light or darkness, becoming harder to detect. You can take the Hide action as a bonus action when in these conditions. Eyes of the Veil: You can see 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane while in the Material Plane. This allows you to sense lingering spirits or disturbances beyond mortal sight. Ethereal Glide: Once per short rest, you can momentarily shift into the Ethereal Plane to dodge an attack. As a reaction, you impose disadvantage on an attack roll made against you. Wings of the Fallen: At 3rd level, you can summon spectral wings as a bonus action for 1 minute. These wings grant you a flying speed of 30 feet. Once used, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice, often a dark or ancient tongue like Abyssal or Sylvan. Dark Affinity: You have resistance to necrotic damage but are vulnerable to radiant damage.
