Homebrew Demi-god Species Details

For as long there have been gods, there have been the half-blood children of them. Though often the result of a direct union of a deity and a mortal, however, different circumstance may cause a demigod to be born in another way. Demigods often grow to become great heroes or terrible villains. The tales of individual demigods are told in legend, that is their history.

Throughout Faerun demi-gods are treated very differently depending on their unworldly parent. While some may be herald as heroes and saviors, others may be cast out and chased away. Some may even not be noticed and spend their life living quietly amongst the mortals. Some demi-gods chase immortality through acts of pure heroism or other ways to make their godly parent proud. Which is possible if found worthy in the eyes of their parent and other gods that live and govern the world of Faerun.
