Biology

The Aurratoria are a distinct race with characteristics of both humans, elves and fairies. They possess fair skin, pointed ears and large eyes – typical traits of the elf – yet their facial features are more delicate like those of fairies in addition to having a slender build. Some Aurratoria even has metallic wings that sprout from their backs which grow into powerful combat advantages. These wings grant them the ability to fly and soar through the sky.

An Aurratoria is not born. They are created if a human, fey, and high elf intermingle their genetics mainly through alchemy used by the Arravion Mages Guild, therein is borne an Aurratoria. The size of a human, yet with the full magical capabilities of a high elf, and the brilliant wings of a fairy. Like the class of a mutated monster hunter, specially raised to the task, an Aurratoria is not common. They were created to serve as an ultimate combination of magical and physical prowess, in one perfect, beautiful form.

Male names are more elvish. Examples are Aruan, Kirdan, Ethiain, and Elliaran.

Female names are usually fairy-like. Examples: Ariarae, Arinaie, Lyradae, Nyserae.

One score of your choice increases by 2, and one other ability score of your choice increases by 1.

Age

Aurri mature at the same rate humans do and reach adulthood around the age of 20. They live much longer than humans due to their elf blood, often exceeding 800 years.

Flight

You have multicolored metallic wings which can send you airborne. Your fly speed is equal to your walking speed.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Darkvision

Thanks to your elf blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can discern color in darkness, though only shades of blue though as you can see on the ultraviolet spectrum.

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Skill Versatility

You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.

You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and one extra language of your choice.
