Homebrew Autumn Pixie Species Details

Small, Swift and Vibrant

Autumn Pixies tiny little creatures most of them slightly smaller than a cat. However, what they lack in size they certainly make up for in speed. Able to fly at a speed of 40, and make quick turns mid flight, they are swift and agile, making fast flight through forests a simple task. They are also adorned with hair as the colors of Autumn leaves (thus the name). Some have bright red hair, some have bright yellow, or orange hair, and Some have mixed colors like streaks running through. These pixies are very beautiful to the eye. They also dress accordingly. Often wearing fall colors mixed with fine Earthy of-sets, to make a good blend with their homes.

Deceptive Age

Most Autumn Pixies can live a natural age of several hundred years, though their oldest observed age has not quite been discovered. Most Autumn pixies choose not to divulge their age as it is more entertaining to keep others guessing. Their age is masked by a never ending youthful demeanor. Even until late in their life, they maintain a visible age much lower than their actual. It's only until they reach the near end of their lives that they begin to show signs of elder status.

Camouflaged Existence

Though quite adventurous, Autumn pixies usually live in forests with vibrant colors as to blend in better with their surroundings. Most colonies reside in the fey wilds as is their origin. However some rumors say that there are a few smaller colonies that have been found in other realms (these are still considered rumors).

Adventurous Lifestyle

Autumn pixies are very adventurous, often going out on excursions in small groups to look for new things to satiate their hunger. They tend to stay aloof however, trying not to come into direct contact with other creatures. If discovered, they usually flee and hide as soon as possible. Autumn pixies tend to be timid and nonviolent. However, if they are threatened or defending their colonies, they will jump into action. They are able to use their surroundings to camouflage themselves in order to hide or create ambushes if needed.

Darkvision

Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Languages

You can speak Elvish, Common, Sylvan, and one other language of your choice.

Flight

You are able to fly at a speed of 40. (walking is a speed of 10)

Fey Ancestry

You can't be charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Pixies Alure

Once during your turn, as a bonus action, you may attempt to charm a selected target.

You must make a roll, (d20+ your charisma modifier) against your target's (d20 + charisma modifier) roll.

If you succeed, your target is now charmed for 1 in game minute, or if you yourself deal damage to that target. After the charm has worn off, you will be unable to charm that target again for 24 hours.

Likewise, if you fail, your target will be immune to your charms for 24 hours.

Active Camo

You are able to magically turn yourself invisible as a full action in combat, or any time out of combat. Once invisible, you can't be targeted by enemy attacks unless your presence has been made apparent. your invisibility will be dropped by anti magic, or if you make an attack. (this ability cannot be canceled by a counter spell reaction)
