Homebrew Descendant Satyr Species Details
These are the Satyrs of Azunabith, respectfully referred to as Descendants in reference to the monsters called Ancestors. They arrived in Azunabith untold amounts of years ago and have been dangerously coexisting with the Ancestors ever since. Some reject the Ancestors, some continue to worship them as they used to, all live in fear of them. Their culture revolves around their subjugation to the Ancestors, as so much of their history has been lost through time to those monsters.
Satyrs have horse-like hoofs and legs, granting them improved agility and speed. Every Satyr's horns are unique, and separated into five distinct types based on the animal they resemble. Azunabith culture suggests that the type of horns indicate personality traits for the Satyr, as the horns are believed to sprout from the brain. However, this superstition amounts to little more than small stereotypes that are commonly dismissed by the general population.

Sylvan Lineage
In Azunabith culture, it is believed that horns sprout from the brain of a satyr, and their shape reflects their personality. While satyrs often possess traits stereotypically associated with their horns, it is not nearly always guaranteed, similar to astrological signs. Choose a horn type from the Sylvan Lineages below; you gain the benefits of that lineage.
Ram Horns: These satyrs are stereotypically passionate and prideful, sometimes making them prone to aggression. Whenever you take the dash action, you can make an unarmed strike as a bonus action with your horns. If you have the Charger feat, this attack always gains the benefits of the Charge Attack feature, and the damage of the unarmed attack increases to 1d6.
Ibex Horns: These satyrs are often charismatic and extroverted, commonly becoming bards or otherwise social people. You gain proficiency in Performance and Persuasion ability checks.
Pronghorns: These satyrs tend to be intelligent, calm and introspective. They often become artists, writers or scholars. You gain proficiency in Insight and Persuasion ability checks.
Oryx Horns: These satyrs are stereotypically gentle, sympathetic and caring people. As such, they are a common sight as clerics in hospitals or churches. You gain access to the Resistance and Spare the Dying cantrips. These actions are not spells or magical in nature, and instead are a manifestation of the capacity for kindness of these satyrs.
Antlers: These satyrs are generally careful, clever and wise. As such they are well-trusted, though not always honest. They often become lawmakers, politicians or even criminals. You gain advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and have proficiency in wisdom saving throws.
Mirthful Leaps
Whenever you make a long or high jump, you may roll 1d8 and add the result to the number of feet you cover, even when making standing jumps. This extra distance counts against your movement as normal.
Horned Strike
You can use your horns to make an unarmed strike against an opponent. On a hit, you deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier.
