Homebrew Confessor Species Details

Confessors are a powerful and feared order of women gifted with a unique form of magic. Their primary ability, known as the Power of Confession, allows them to permanently strip a person of their free will with a single touch. Once confessed, the victim is bound by an unbreakable, unwavering love and devotion to the Confessor, obeying any command without question. This effect is absolute and irreversible, persisting even after the Confessor's death. The only exception is if a confessed individual dies and is later resurrected by powerful magic, which nullifies the Confession.

Confessor Abilities and Traits:

1. Confession Power – The Confessor’s touch releases a surge of magic that overwhelms the target’s mind, bending them to the Confessor’s will. A person under Confession sees the Confessor as the most important being in existence and will do anything for them.

2. Innate Magic Reserve & Recovery – A Confessor's power is fueled by an internal reservoir of magic. After using her ability, a Confessor becomes temporarily weakened, often needing rest before she can use it again. The strength and recovery rate vary between individuals, with the Mother Confessor possessing the fastest recovery time.

3. Immunity to Confession – Confessors are immune to each other’s powers, making them the only beings who cannot be controlled by another Confessor’s magic.

4. Unbreakable Will & Emotional Control – Confessors have an iron will, honed from childhood to resist emotional weakness. Despite possessing emotions, they must maintain supreme control, as uncontrolled anger or desperation could cause them to unleash their power accidentally.

5. Truth Detection & Judging Ability – Confessors serve as the ultimate arbiters of justice, using their power to force absolute truth. A confessed individual cannot lie or withhold information, ensuring that a Confessor can always extract honesty.

6. Combat & Leadership Skills – While not all Confessors are trained warriors, they are formidable in battle due to their ability to control enemies instantly. The Mother Confessor, as the leader of the Confessors, also commands great political and strategic power.

7. Resistance to Other Forms of Magic – Confessors have a degree of resistance to certain magical influences, especially mind-control spells, due to their already commanding presence and powerful will.

8. The Mother Confessor’s Unique Strength – The title of Mother Confessor is given to the strongest among them. The Mother Confessor has a greater magical reserve, the fastest recovery time, and the ability to use her power more frequently than any other Confessor.

9. Reproductive Traits & Confessor Bloodline – A Confessor’s children will always inherit the Confessor gift, regardless of the father’s lineage. This ensures that Confessors remain a dominant force, though it also places heavy expectations on them to continue their bloodline.

10. Love and Emotional Hardships – Because Confessors cannot be intimate without risking the Confession of their partner, they live emotionally isolated lives. The only way they can safely love a man without enslaving him is if he is already confessed to them or if magic somehow negates their gift.

The Con Dar – The Blood Rage of a Confessor:
The Con Dar, also known as the Blood Rage, is a rare and legendary state that only a Confessor can enter under extreme emotional distress, usually triggered by overwhelming fury, injustice, or the dire need to protect a loved one. It is an advanced and nearly uncontrollable manifestation of a Confessor’s power, amplifying their abilities to unprecedented levels.

1. Unrestricted Confession – In the Con Dar, a Confessor can use her power without exhaustion, allowing her to confess multiple individuals in rapid succession without weakening. Normally, a Confessor must rest after using her ability, but in the Con Dar, she can wield it continuously.

2. Increased Strength & Speed – While in the Blood Rage, the Confessor experiences heightened physical prowess, making her faster and stronger than normal. This makes her a deadly force in combat.

3. Combat Awareness & Instincts – The Con Dar sharpens a Confessor’s instincts, making her highly attuned to threats and capable of reacting with lightning-fast precision.

4. Selective Confession Control – Unlike a normal Confession, which is uncontrollable once triggered, the Con Dar allows a Confessor to **choose** who is affected. This means she can target specific individuals while sparing others.

5. Psychological Impact on the Confessor – The Con Dar is a dangerous state that consumes the Confessor with overwhelming emotions. If not controlled, it can lead to reckless actions or even death.

6. Rare & Unique to the Most Powerful Confessors – The Con Dar is so rare that most Confessors never experience it.
