Homebrew Bearfolk Species Details
Many moons ago bears became enslaved by humanoid captors and they combined science and magic to enhance the bear DNA and cause mutations that mixed a bear and humanoid to create a more intellectual bear that has the ability to perform feats similar to that of a human.
Bearfolk Traits
You share much of the traits with your bear ancestors but have also acquired some more humanoid skills.Ability Score Increase
Your Strength and Constitution scores increase by 2 and your Intelligence score decreases by 1.
Age
Bearfolk reach maturity around age 5 and will often live to no more than 30 years.
Alignment
Bearfolk do not normally sway either way in terms of how they align themselves most being neutral.
Size
Most bearfolk stand at around 8 feet in height, but some range to as tall as 10 feet when on their hind legs. Generally weighing around 800lbs. Your size is large.
Speed
Walking speed on your hind legs is 30 feet. On all fours this increases to 40 feet.
