Homebrew White Shadowlock Species Details
In the Undercity of Sorceria dwells a mysterious race known as shadowlocks. These pallid humanoids were created from the shadows themselves, granting them the ability to see in darkness. Magical or otherwise. Shadowlocks have bone-white skin and jet-black hair. They are lean and muscular, and typically have a serious disposition. A small offshoot of the shadowlock race are the white shadowlocks, named for their ghost-white hair, who are cursed. The white shadowlocks have an affinity with the dead, making them talented necromancers, undertakers, and the like.
Shadowlocks have a tenuous relationship with the drow, and maintain a blood feud with the grimlors that demands they be destroyed on sight. Although they prefer the darkness of the Undercity, some shadowlocks do travel to the surface and create a life there. Amon Kane, the Sorcerian Steward to Azalon, is a well-known Shadowlock, and they are reflective of the shadowlock's serious nature.
