Homebrew Wooden Golem Species Details

These golems were mostly made with wood and had protective seals on them in order to prevent them from doing anything other than what they were originally built for. There size and shape would often be a result from their creation purpose, for example larger golems with a bulky body, would be constructed for heavy labor such as logging, mining and hauling, medium ones with a more humanoid design would serve as servants, assistants entertainers, gardeners and any other task an extra hand might be useful.

Since their main composite consisted of wood, they were quite easy to repair and modify, mages would equip simple metal armor onto golems tasked with medical care to act as easily repairable apothecaries on a battle field. Due to wood being a very good conduit for magic, many golems would serves as mage apprentices for large tasks, such as rituals, large mass healings/blessing, magical handiwork and so on.

Due to a clockwork mind, these Golems were very much endeared by the lower and middle working class along with some of the upper class, due to the fact that the Golems would form rudimentary emotions and could feel Empathy and Sympathy for others. This made the golems much more approachable and easily accepted when rumors of rouge Golems made by dark sorcerers broke out.

Simple golems made from a renewable resource, these constructs are equipped with several built in tools specified for what ever purpose they may be created for.

Magical Amplitude

wood is very widely known in the wizarding world for its ability to serve as an excellent conduit for magic. thus Wooden Golems often amplify the effects of spells put onto them and can often redirect said spells as a result of their wooden bodies conductivity of magic. Some of these golems even boast additional runes carved unto their bodies that give them an even greater control of magic and the cost of durability.

Very useful in a fight.

Enhanced Agility

Due to being artificial constructs, the limbs and joints on a Wooden Golem have no need for a limit or stopper, thus, they can pull of many acrobatic moves that many would consider unnatural or unsightly.

Thankfully, the Golems at least have the decency to warn you first before doing it.
