Homebrew Bajoran Species Details

The Bajoran people have a storied history of art, culture, and religion, hailing from the distant Alpha Quadrant planet of Bajor. Having lived under Cardassian occupation for the better part of 60 years, they freed themselves by organizing a powerful and aggressive Resistance.

Bajorans are a tough people, having survived the Occupation through the Resistance or their faith, an ancient religion involving worshipping of the non-linear Prophets, ancient entities that lives in the Bajoran Wormhole (known to faithful Bajorans as the ‘Celestial Temple’).  Bajorans joined the Resistance, found the Prophets, or both, to survive the Occupation, and the race is very proud of their freedom and ability to throw off the shackles of their oppressors. When not in situations like the Occupation, Bajorans are a serene, peaceful people, interested largely in art and history. When backed against a wall, however, Bajorans have shown to accomplish incredible feats by harnessing their extraordinarily strong survival instinct.

The Standard Languages table lists languages that are widespread on D&D worlds. Every player character knows Common, which originated in the planar metropolis of Sigil, the hub of the multiverse.
