Homebrew Crystalkin Species Details

Crystal kin have been around longer than humans have. They have the humanoid shape but are made completely of crystals. Crystal kin’s crystals vary in color but generally remain either blue, red, yellow, green, or purple. They have been living in the cave systems of the underdark for many centuries and only recently have emerged into the “overworld” as they call it. In the underdark cave systems there was very little light but now that they have the sun shining on them they have the ability to harness that light through their crystals. Crystal kin are naturally kind because when they were in the cave systems they were all a community, struggling to survive, and they now see everyone as part of their clan. They usually live 700 to 1000 years and mature at the age of 300.
