Homebrew Bone-Marred Species Details
Bone-colored scaly guys with psionic powers.
Basically they look like something between a white dragonborn and a lizardfolk. The height of a Bone-Marred can be anywhere between 4 to 6½ feet, and they weigh slightly more than humans.
Theyre also really into bones, and tend to have very big families.
Their names tend to have a lot of consonants and not too many vowels
Bone-Marred Traits
Your draconic heritage manifests in a variety of traits you share with other dragonborn.Natural Armor
You have tough, scaly skin. When you aren’t wearing armor, your base AC is 12 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield’s benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.
Bone Magic
You get one cantrip. Its damage type changes to psychic. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for it
Ability Score Increase
Your Strength, Constitution and Wisdom all increase by 1. Or you can use Tasha's.
Age
Young bone-marred grow rather quickly. They walk mere weeks after birth,, and reach adulthood by 15. They then live until they're 140 years old.
Size
Your size is Small or Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Telempathic Broadcast
You have the psionic ability to transmit your thoughts mentally to creatures within 120 feet of yourself. A contacted creature doesn’t need to share a language with you to understand your thoughts. You can only communicate simple ideas, and only in the form of images, not words or sentences. You can contact a maximum amount of creatures equal to twice your level.
Bonecunning
You can make an Insight check related to the origin of some bones to determine the type and size of creature they came from, as well as a rough estimate of the age of the bones.
Psychic Resistance
You have resistance to psychic damage
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language.
