Homebrew Vulpis Species Details
Vulpis are a race of anthropomorphic foxes, possessing a human-like frame with vulpine features.
They stand between 4 and 5 feet tall, with slender builds and expressive, fox-like faces. They have large, pointed ears, keen eyes, and a bushy tail that often displays their mood. Vulpis are known for their cunning intellect and natural agility.
Traits:
- Ability Score Increase: +2 Dexterity, +1 Intelligence.
- Speed: 35 feet.
- Cunning Nature: Vulpis possess a natural talent for deception and strategy. They gain proficiency in the Deception skill.
- Misty Step: Once per day, as a bonus action, a Vulpis can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space they can see.
- Charm Resistance: Vulpis have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
- Languages: Common, and one other language of their choice.
Vulpis Traits
Vulpis are cunning and agile, you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed and can magically teleport 30ft once per day.Ability score increase
Vulpis are agile, cunning and often make for elite assassins, thieves and merchants (sly ones) you gain +2 Dexterity and +1 Intelligence.

You gain proficiency in the deception skill.
Misty step
Once per day as a bonus action you may cast misty step.
Charm resistance
Whenever you make a saving throw against the charm effect you have have advantage on the saving throw.
Fennec Vulpis
Fennec Vulpis, or “Fens” as there affectionatly called by their peers are the smallest and most nimble of the Vulpis peoples, they also have the best hearing and reflexes compared to their brethren. When you choose this subspecies you gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws, you also gain proficiency in the Perception and Acrobatics skills. Additionally, when you roll initiative, you add your Dexterity modifier to the roll.

You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws. Additionally, when you roll initiative add your Dexterity Modifier to the roll.

You gain proficiency in the Perception and Acrobatics skills.
Gray Vulpis
Gray Vulpis are more hearty and naturally strong than other Vulpis. When you choose this subspecies your strength score increases by 1. Additionally, you gain proficiency in the athletics skill, and proficiency with medium as well as heavy armor and martial weapons.
Martial masters
You gain proficiency in the athletics skill, as well as medium and heavy armor proficiency and martial weapons. Gray Vulpis make up the bulk of Vulpirias frontline troops.
Natural strength
Your strength score increases by 1.
Red Vulpis
Red Vulpis are the most common, and in general are the most adaptable of their kind. When you select this subspecies choose one ability score to increase by 1, additionally, you gain proficiency in any one skill of your choice, proficiency with any tool and one musical instrument.

Snow Vulpis
Snow Vulpis are reclusive and not much is known about their inner society. They are far traveled, and make for good scouts and hunters. When you choose this subspecies you gain resistance to cold damage, and proficiency in the Nature and Survival skills.
Cold resistance
You gain resistance to cold damage. Additionally, you don’t suffer a vision penalty from extreme weather such as heavy rain, or snowfall, or fog.

You gain proficiency in the Nature and Survival skills.
