Homebrew Alloykin Species Details

Forged through cruel experimentation and abandoned to the depths of society, the Alloykin are a rare and scattered people. Their bodies are a fusion of flesh and metal, veins glowing faintly with an internal heat that never fades. Though cast out as failures or forgotten test subjects, these survivors have adapted to the harsh streets, using their wits, strength, and resilience to carve out an existence in the shadows of industrial cities.

Metallic Physique

Your body has been tempered by extreme conditions, making you highly resistant to heat. You have resistance to fire damage.

Heated Body

You can channel the internal heat of your body into your unarmed strikes, searing those you strike. As a bonus action, you can activate this feature, causing your unarmed strikes to deal fire damage instead of bludgeoning damage. While this feature is active, your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d6 fire damage. This increases to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 11th level and 4d6 at 17th level.

This effect lasts for 1 minute.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Metallic Fists

Your body has been reinforced with living metal, enhancing your natural combat ability. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage instead of the normal damage for an unarmed strike.

Survivor's Instincts

You have proficiency in the Survival and Sleight of Hand skills.

Powerful Build

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
