Homebrew Air Species Details

There is only one “humanoid” race that exists on the planet Mizuri. The name of these people is Air (Aye-eer). The Air is the first sentient life to exist, but the last to leave their planet. This is because the water world they live in is the only way they can exist with the actual company. Until about 150 years ago, the Air couldn’t even really leave their planet. They could make spacecraft and things like that, but filling a spaceship with water would make it too heavy. The Air people had not found ways to easily and economically make ways for them to breathe and even walk and such without dying. However, visitors from Archon and their sister planet arrived around 2,000 years ago. During this time, the Air natives traded with and worked with the Archonians to make technology for them to be able to live on and visit other planets. The plan was simple: A way to move and a way to breathe. The problem came in the form of the invention itself. Artificers from all planets came together and eventually formed what are called “Water-Hover Suits.” These suits allow the Air people to not only breathe but also move on dry land.

Air Traits

Air are natives of the Water Planet, Mizuri. Incapable of communication, breathing oxygen, and walking, the Air people have beat the odds and are fully capable of not only moving out of water, but communicating telepathically with other creatures.

Hover

The hover ability of the Air is impressive, but not all powerful. They use their hovering to walk around on Non-Water planets, however there needs to be 2 feet of air between their suits and the ground. This still allows them to avoid difficult terrain and dodge tremor attacks.
