Homebrew Cursed Dreadful Species Details

((Based of the Plushie Dreadfuls products. I am not associated with the company whatsoever))

When children are abused or mistreated a mysterious Rabbit Plushie of varying appearances may appear in their homes, and a force draws the children in to become attached to the stuffed animals, causing a bond to be made. The child will see the plushie as a friend. However, if they choose to confide in it, hold it, and cry themselves to sleep while cradling it, they will die in their sleep, with their soul embedded in the plushie. From then on, the childs soul possesses the stuffed animal, making it a sentient being. The Soul loses its memories, only remembering things from the plushies perspective, so naturally, they start to believe that they ARE the stuffed animal itself, unaware that they are a child possessing their beloved toy.

They travel the world, trying to find their child, but their quest, while out of loyalty and honor, is entirely in vain.
