Homebrew Bruxer Species Details
Bruxers are friendly, cunning, and playful. They are rarely encountered, preferring to live in nests of 3 to 15 individuals away from danger and other races. Since most people have never met a Bruxer, they have an unearned reputation as dirty, aggressive creatures. This could not be further from the truth, as they are happiest around others, easy-going, and detest getting dirty. They do have a tricky side, however, and others will be shocked by their ability to find their way out of the mischief they constantly create to keep themselves amused.
In appearance, Bruxers are small, furry people resembling fancy rats. They have big black eyes, perky pink ears, whiskered snouts, and round cheeks that hide powerful jaws. They are typically between 3 and 4 feet tall with fur in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Their long tails are covered in sparse but soft bristles, and they have dexterous paws and long feet made for jumping and climbing.
