Homebrew Cogborn Species Details

Cogborn are humanoid in form, standing 5 to 7 feet tall. Their bodies are made of metal, wood, and arcane circuitry. Their eyes glow with soft inner light, and their voices often have a metallic echo. Over time, many decorate or customize their frames—engraving symbols, painting their plating, or adding attachments.

Constructed Resilence

 

  • You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.

  • You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe.

  • You are immune to disease.

  • You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

 

Sentry's Rest

When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but you remain conscious.

You gain proficiency in one of the following: Arcana, Investigation, or one set of artisan’s tools of your choice.
