Homebrew Anthrolotl Species Details

The Anthrolotls are as the name suggests: anthropomorphic Axolotls. Like the Axolotl, they have elaborate visible gills, beady eyes, mouths with tiny little teeth, and long finny tails. They can come in several colors including blue, white, turquoise, yellow, pink, and even black! Their gills are usually pink in color, but occasionally takes on similar colors to the rest of their skin. They always seem to be smiling. Due to their resistance to aging, Anthrolotls usually live about 200 years, though in some cases they can live twice that age.

Axoloids are extremely relaxed by nature, not really warriors by default. They get along with anyone who will take the time to get to know them and accept them despite their strangeness. They especially like anyone who will just sit down with them and enjoy some rest and relaxation. Axoloid society is usually run by the eldest in a village, who is well respected for their wisdom and experience. They are advised by other elders, and when forming nations the elders of each village come together and choose a Grand Elder to lead them.
