Homebrew Voxdevil Species Details

“Every word a hook, every smile a snare.”

Voxdevils are infernal beings born of contracts, charisma, and control—once revered as the voices of Hell’s will, sent across the planes to sway empires, charm mortals, and spread the dominion of the Hells through mirror, dream, and whispered word.

But those days are over.

For reasons shrouded in secrecy and scandal, the Voxdevils were cast out, stripped of their status, and severed from the infernal hierarchy they once served. Some say they overstepped their bounds; others whisper of a rebellion against the archdevils themselves. Whatever the truth, their voices were silenced, their glamour fractured—and their power diminished.

Now, scattered across the mortal world, Voxdevils walk among mortals wearing charming visages and velvet suits, their infernal glamour still intact, if flickering. Each one harbors a burning desire to reclaim what was lost—through manipulation, pacts, fame, or fear. They are devils not in form, but in ambition: calculating, theatrical, and endlessly determined.

To some, they are fallen stars of Hell’s great broadcast. To others, they are dangerous echoes of promises best left forgotten.
