Homebrew Dragon Species Details

Dragons are large reptilian creatures of ancient origin and tremendous power. True dragons, including the chromatic, metallic, and gem dragons, are immensly powerful and have innate magic. Dragons are complex creatures with varied personalities, goals, priorities, and mannerisms. In that respect, they’re much like mortal folk—but dragons are also shaped by their specifically draconic characteristics, including incredibly long life spans, fundamentally magical biology, and the sheer enormity of their power.

Also in this category are creatures distantly related to true dragons, but less powerful, less intelligent, and less magical, such as Wyverns and Pseudodragons.
