Homebrew Adura Species Details

The Adura are a wise and proud race, aesthetically similar to humans, skin colors very in shades of purples and blues, hairs colors in variants of blues, blacks and some white. But this is not what makes them truly unique, what really makes the Adura who they are is a period of their History known as The trails, where the Adura were subjugated into slavery by a race of Dragonborn, and barred from communicating with one another however the Adura devised a type of sign language consisting of subtle hand gestures, body postures and facial tics and expressions. They also taught themselves to read the body language of others as one would read a book. This new language became more than just simple means of communication however it led to a new way of life and it helped the Adura overthrow their evil masters by enabling them to form a guerrilla force and stealthy with time, wipe out their evil masters. Now in current timez every Adura is taught the language that they now call "Kinetic communication" they are all taught how to carefully interpret movements, gestures and mannerisms and they are so good at reading body language that they can tell a person's mood and intentions within a matter of seconds, given time they can even tell some of a persons history. Adura are also the best vocal and physical mimics because of their perceptive abilities, they can imitate almost any beings voice, language or mannerisms with enough study time and within the restrictions of their own physical abilities

• Passive Vision: Adura training prepares you for you have great vision in dark and dim conditions, you can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if you are in bright light and in darkness as if you were in dim light. You can't discern certain color in darkness only shades of blue and you have Blindsense up too 5 feet.

• Tell Tale: Aduras have Advantage on Insight Checks and you have a +5 to your passive Wisdom (perception) score.

Mimic

• Mimicry: An Adura can I mimic the speech of another person or sounds made by other creatures, you must have heard the person speaking or the creature making the sound for at least 1 minute.

Adura are taught to find their own personal codes, along with the teachings of their elders and mentors, to find their own place balance between Law and Chaos.
