Beiadran
Racial Traits
Your Beiadran character has the following traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Age. Beiadran mature at a similar rate to humans, reaching adulthood in their late teens. They live slightly longer, typically up to 120 years.
Alignment. Beiadran value strength, tradition, and loyalty to clan. Most lean toward lawful alignments, though their passion for fire and arcane power can push some toward chaotic tendencies.
Size. Beiadran stand between 6 and 7 feet tall, with broad builds and thick-scaled skin. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Ignan.
Fireborn Legacy
Your blood carries the mark of elemental flame. You have resistance to fire damage.
Embercasting
You have an innate talent for pyromancy. You know the produce flame cantrip. At 3rd level, you can cast the burning hands spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. At 5th level, you can also cast the heat metal spell once per long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Clanborn Resilience
Growing up in the harsh, sun-scorched lands where only the strong endure, Beiadran are no strangers to pain. You have advantage on saving throws against exhaustion caused by extreme heat and can go twice as long without food or water.
Searing Intimidation
Your smoldering eyes, scaled features, and ember-breathed voice unsettle those unused to your kind. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill. If you already have proficiency, you instead add double your proficiency bonus.
Appearance
Beiadran resemble a fusion of draconic majesty and orcish brawn. Their skin ranges from volcanic black to deep crimson, often marked with glowing ember-like streaks. Horns curve back from their foreheads, and their eyes blaze with hues of molten gold, orange, or ruby red. Their lower jaws are often adorned with tusks or fanglike protrusions, remnants of ancient primal ancestors.

Beiadran live in tightly-knit clans that often form around natural sources of heat: active volcanoes, desert canyons, sun-scorched plateaus, or geothermal springs. Their societies are hierarchical but honor-bound, where leadership is earned through trials, wisdom, or mastery of flamecraft.

Fire-seers and ember-speakers guide their spiritual life, often serving as both arcane scholars and religious leaders. Many Beiadran warriors are trained in a blend of martial combat and flame-infused magic.
