Homebrew Aäriadri (Tabaxi, Housecat Variant) Species Details
When a Tabaxi spends too much time around civilization , it can rapidly evolve so that only two generations later, its offspring are perfectly adapted to the urban environment. When this happens, they shrink drastically, and become even more charismatic than they already were.
Aäriadri (Tabaxi, Housecat Variant) Traits
Forced to adapt, Aäriadri master deception to survive in the ruthless slums of big urban areas.Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 1, and your Charisma score increases by 2.
Size
Your urban adaption has drastically decreased your size. Typical Aäriadri stand between two and a half and three and a half feet tall. But get one thing straight: they don't need to be tall. They have style. Do you still impudently disagree? Fine, amigos, I shall persuade you otherwise.
... (your size is small).
Age
Aäriadri age at around the same rate as humans, reaching middle age at around 50, and rarely living longer than 110.
Darkvision
You have a cat’s keen senses especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness only shades of gray.
Feline Agility
You gain proficiency in the Acrobatics skill, and your jump distance is doubled.
Big Watery Eyes
You gain proficiency in the persuasion, deception, and performance skills. You're proficiency bonus is doubled for any check you make with these skills.
Alignment
You are a naturally born hero, with the Charisma to prove it (Or....deceive those fools into thinking otherwise....), naturally driving you towards good, or, at the very least, Neutral. BUT. This is a big but. No one ever, EVER, tells an Aäriadri what to do. EVER. You are undeniably Chaotic. You are immune to any feature that would change your alignment in this regard.
Cat's Claws
You can use your claws to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with them, the strike deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier slashing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. Also, because of your claws, you have a climbing speed of 20 feet.
