Homebrew Aethralian Species Details

Aethralians are born with the Weave pulsing in their blood. Taller and olive-skinned, their magic is instinctual, requiring no schooling. Often distrusted for this, they live in quiet enclaves—or rule from behind veils.

Aethralian Traits

As an Aethralian, you have a very strong connection to magic. As such you gain the following:

Ability Score Increase

+2 Intelligence, +1 Wisdom

Heightened Vision.

You have Truesight up to 30 feet, and can see in both magical and nonmagical darkness.

Innate Arcana.

You learn the Mage Hand cantrip. At 3rd level, you can cast Shield once per long rest. At 5th level, you can cast Detect Magic at will, without expending a spell slot.

Weaveborn.

You can cast spells even if silenced, blinded, or restrained. You still require spell slots, but not components for spells of 2nd level or lower.

Stillmind.

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or magically put to sleep.
