Homebrew Axiren Species Details

The Axiran are amphibious beings native to lush wetlands and underground caverns with crystal-clear pools. Their defining features include soft, smooth skin in pastel hues (pink, lavender, and pale blue are common), feather-like gills sprouting elegantly from their necks, and large, expressive eyes that shimmer like pearls. They are known for their regenerative abilities, able to heal wounds or even regrow lost limbs—a trait that makes them highly sought-after allies.

Axiran society values harmony and balance, often worshipping deities of water and life. They are skilled herbalists and alchemists, crafting powerful salves and potions derived from aquatic plants. Their connection to water magic is profound, enabling them to summon protective mists, purify tainted waters, or even manipulate rainstorms.

Axiran adventurers are often drawn to quests involving the preservation of nature or the discovery of ancient secrets hidden beneath the waves. They can be fiercely loyal yet deceptively clever in battle, relying on their agility and magical prowess to outmaneuver foes.
