Your small size and mobility make you harder to hit. Your armor class is 12 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Due to your small size and speed, your kind have developed a proficiency in Stealth.

If your hands are empty you may use a bonus action to drop to all-fours and double your movement speed until you stand upright again. When you are knocked Prone you may choose on your turn to roll to all-fours instead of standing up, when doing so you don't spend half your movement but are still considered prone.

Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Strength score increases by 1.

While you cannot physically speak, you can telepathically communicate with those around you within 60ft, though they cannot respond telepathically unless they can already do so otherwise.
You can read and write Common.

Genetic modifications have allowed the dogeborn numerous enhancements through their innate psychic abilities, including lengthened lifespans (in comparison to typical dogs). They walk hours after birth, attain the size and development of a 10-year-old human child by the age of 3, and reach adulthood by 15. They live to be around 80.

Dogeborn come in varying shapes and sizes, but they are usually smaller breeds. Between 2 and 4 feet tall, and weighing 15-35 lbs.

Your size is small.

Due to your unique shape and size, armor is harder to come by and costs twice as much to be fashioned for you.

The dogeborn are smol and agile. Your base walking speed is 40 feet, with a 25 foot burrow and climb speed.

The dogeborn are stubborn and independent, and anger easily when people make suggestions that aren't their own. Most dogeborn don't follow orders well. You have advantage on charisma saves against persuasion and intimidation attempts.

Your teeth are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

You can use one of your attack actions to deliver a bite to a victim's ankle. Make a bite attack on the victim; if you hit, the creature being hit must make a CON saving throw or be crippled until its' next turn. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 1d8 bonus damage. The damage increases to 2d8 at 6th level, 3d8 at 11th level, and 4d8 at 16th level. After you use your ankle bite, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

You have advantage on perception checks using smell and hearing from your superior shiba senses.

However, your keen senses also make it so you must make a wisdom save whenever you see or smell food or be compelled to try to eat some, or at least investigate the source. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Dogeborn don't favor any particular alignment, but tend to be influenced by their masters more than anything.
