The Bleakborn are beings of corporeal essence, born from the fallout of cataclysms - Wars, magical disasters, apocalypses. Each Bleakborn carries with them the emotional resonance of their origin event: Despair, fury, sorrow, guilt. Their forms are ghostlike, their voices echo strangely. Bleakborn live on the edge of perception, with an innate understanding of pain and survival. Some seek vengeance, others seek redemption. Some simply wish for the end that never arrives.
